The date is set
like any new mom approaching her "due" date, or in this case "gotcha date! "

I am very nervous about going these two weeks alone
thousands of miles from my little boy Ari
without my rock, Craig
where I don't speak the language
and where I will be parenting a child who knows not what that is, and who will be grieving a loss of his own
long train and plane rides just me and him
weeks away from home
fighting the fear is proving difficult
especially with

the mountain before us tonight

I need to be in Russia on August 14th until August 20th then to Moscow from August 20th to August 26th to complete Ian's adoption and bring him home
we cannot make any moves right now
we are totally dependent on God and his people

our last trip not more than a week ago, cost us $10,000.00

that was all we had in our adoption account
the total now to save our son looming at $38,000 already spent
*
so, as we press in deeply to our faith
we ask you to share Ian's FSP button,
to the right at the top of our blog
we need to raise at least $5,000 NOW & we are utterly exhausted, too much to plan a grand fundraiser, we just need donations, no amount is too small, we can offer nothing in return but a sweet little boy becoming an orphan no more, coming home - he has waited so long
we won't hear back about the grant until July 27th, that could end the need
but we cannot count on it
