No Mistake

This page is a running list of how nothing in life is a coincidence, it is all Gods intricate symphony, and that our journey to Ian is no mistake.

10/21/10 Its no mistake that...
One year ago TO THE DAY, after 21 years, I met once more my good friend, my sister, from Ian's country.
She just happened to be in the United States, in New York City, for one day only.
I flew there to see her.

Exactly one year later,
I got a message on my Facebook inbox from,
my brothers from Ian's country.
I have not seen or spoken to them for 22 years!
They would be coming to Atlanta, for one night only,
I drove downtown to see them.

The Red Elvises, with my friends Oleg (L) on the bass and Igor (R) on the guitar
We shared our memories and our lives now,
and...
I met the Dashevky's - Ella and Mark, from Ian's country,
who by the way are from Milwaukee, Wisconsin - my home state!
who were so excited to hear about Ian that,
they will cook traditional foods for us, from Ian's country,
they will work on our language skills with us, from Ian's country,
and when he comes home, they will be there for Ian and for us.

Irony I believe, falls short to explain this amazing happening.
My steps are ordered by God, and how wonderfully he weaves them back and forth
over the years,
to cross themselves again, when his time comes.

9/23/10 Its no mistake that...
We received our largest single donation to Ian's fund today from,
someone God placed in my life about 15 years ago who,
spent time in an orphanage somewhere in the world and witnessed,
first hand, the faces of God looking out for another of his children to save them.

The blessings never stop when you get to the bottom line of God's true calling
to love thy brother as thyself

9/16/10 Its no mistake that...
I woke up more than an hour late for my 5:00 am run at Stone Mountain Park as such,
When I got to the mountain it was already daylight so,
I had to opt for a short jaunt up the mountain versus my regular run around it so,
I put on my Faithrun iTunes Playlist to better be in the moment with God and,
then on the way down the mountain, the song Something Beautiful by needtobreathe came on while,
at the same time a random man stopped a 25 or so feet in front of me and starred at me as I walked down, making me feel strange and then,
he said to me, "look," and pointed in to the rocky woods and there,

stood 2 deer, not 10 feet from us.
Beautiful!

7/29/10 Its no mistake that...
I went into the UPS store near where Ari attends Occupational Therapy to get the first document
needed to be notarized for Ian's adoption and,
after it was notarized and I was back in the car checking the notarization for accuracy,
the name on the notary was,
Stacy Reed.

Stacy Reed is the name of the only female neighborhood friend I had growing up that lived on my street maybe seven houses away from me. Stacy and I got into lots of trouble together! Reece's Rainbow and I are going to get into a lot of trouble together too! Now that I know what I know, and I can never un know it
there will be no stopping me!
Amazing!
