What an incredible day this has been! My friends are coming through for Ian, in true good person/humanitarian fashion! I think I ought to start a little poll! I think my Minnesota friends and family will donate the most, followed by Atlanta, then Racine. You can enter your vote too in the comments section. Minnesota has a ton of good folks doing great things, and I am happy to be a U of M graduate - The School of Medicine Dr. Wagner and Dr. Tolar are doing incredible work/research for children right there on Harvard Street!

Donations are rolling in!
What an incredible day this has been! My friends are coming through for Ian, in true good person/humanitarian fashion! I think I ought to start a little poll! ReplyDeleteOh you have no idea how excited I am for little Ian and you. Several weeks ago, I saw that his picture was no where to be found. I panicked to be honest with you. I though maybe he had been sent to be with a foster family and would never know the love of a family. You see, Ian has a special place in our hearts b/c God showed our family (my husband specifically) that we were called to adopt. We knew he wasn't our son but this little man captured our hearts from the moment we set our eyes upon him. We've prayed for him, for you to find each other. And you have!!!! Oh how our Father in Heaven puts the right people together. I am so excited for you two. Hope you don't mind us peeking into your journey from time to time. Many blessings to you!!!

ReplyDeleteThank you for the sweet comment. I got "Spirit bumps" (that's what we call them when we know God is all over a situation) while reading the comment you left me. I had a sweet friend call me yesterday to tell me Ian had found his family. I had expressed my concern before we knew about you. I had the blessing of telling her a little about you. I love your comment,"one is adopted but I forget which one!" That so blessed my heart.
