With the efforts and generosity of SO many wonderful people that we both know and do not know personally, we are so amazed and thankful beyond words, that we now only need to raise:
$6,736.00
This is a very conservative estimate of what is needed, but we are cutting costs at every place possible, including ditching the western accommodations for the court trip to stay in a dorm room at a university in Ian's city, cutting hotel costs from $300 a day to $75 or even less! and, my gracious lifelong Russian sister in Moscow will open her home to us for as long as is needed when Ian and I arrive there to process his ticket home (US Embassy, etc...) This will save us another $1K or more in hotel costs in Moscow, one of the priciest cities in the world!
and
For the 3rd and final trip, I will return alone to bring Ian home, cutting costs again by thousands of dollars. Heck, I love a great adventure, although I will be sad that daddy will have to watch "Gotcha" day from so far away.
So, we are in the final push now for raising up this last money
and
Our puzzle fundraiser still has 2 chains out and about working, so that could bring in another $2K, but maybe not in time, as it was a 10 week fundraiser. Still, we are putting in so much of our own savings, perhaps going to empty an IRA account, and putting off much needed home repairs. Whatever we have to do, we will do it. I admit, I'm getting NERVOUS!
Praise GOD for this summer of miracles! SO MANY kids are coming home, SO MANY families have been fully funded within days of them leaving to rescue orphans....and the best perhaps of all, Kirill finally came home.
Ian is not far behind and yesterday, we were gifted with a NEW photograph of our baby (WE MISS HIM SO SO MUCH!). He was getting his PASSPORT pictures taken at the orphanage!
OH BOY! They shaved his head again (bummer, we love his curls).

We are coming for you baby boy, soon!
